Happy almost 2019! It’s been a wild year (as I say every single year) but hey that’s what we wanna hear!! This was the first year I took a more serious approach to my modeling career and actively created opportunities for myself. I’ve learned so much, and can definitely say that the fruits of my labor were sweet.

In February of this year I was published in my first magazine, leading to 4 total publications this year. From coordinating, styling, and production, they were so much fun to create and even more rewarding to physically see in my hands. In October, I coordinated very own publication shoot, mixing my Indian-American identity with styling and creative direction coming out in early 2019.

Commercial work grew too as I was able to work with some amazing fashion brands for their fall and spring collections (Jean Franklin Shop, Shop Lux Clothing, We Wear Us, VSCO Campaign, Dazey LA).

Most importantly, even in a path that seems uncontrollable, I knew there were ways I could use my hard work to create opportunities and network. It’s amazing to see how far I’ve come in just a year, and can’t wait to see what 2019 holds! Check out some of my highlights through each month!
