DRESSY DENIM

Winter in LA is something that is probably the hardest to dress for because it’s so bipolar! It was finally starting to get cold for the past week, but now it’s back to weather in the high 70s and it’s December?! And can we talk about the 90 degree weather on Thanksgiving lol I’m glad I went home to the Bay Area that week otherwise it would have been a sauna down here.

Today I’m sharing a cute thrifted piece that’s perfect for those winter coffee shop vibes (especially when you’re a student like me and are grinding for finals right now).

It’s a little unstructured, but I like that it’s got a boyfriend-dress kinda look (if that’s even a thing). A denim belt came with the dress, and it’s a crucial piece to give you a waist and a more feminine look. You can easily dress this up with a different statement belt and some thigh high boots and you’re ready for a night out!

I decided to go for a more casual daytime look, with these beautiful red/orange/brown chunky heels (lol idk the actual color), some pins and light bracelets. The small accents really made this denim dress a little different, and I’m thinking of adding patches in the near future to make it more my own!

Adding my coffee that was so so delicious from this classic rustic cafe was the perfect blend with the whole fall vibe I had going on, and I absolutely loved this shoot! To all my fellow students out there basically living off coffee right now, I wish you the best on finishing the semester/quarter strong and have a beautiful winter break!
